DUBLIN, Ireland, CAMBRIDGE, Ma. & SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2004--Elan Corporation, plc and Biogen Idec today announced that the companies will host a joint discussion of the ANTEGREN(R) (natalizumab) ENACT-2 data (Crohn's disease maintenance trial) to be presented at Digestive Disease Week ("DDW") during the Late-Breaking Abstract Symposium on May 19, 2004 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Central Time. Following the symposium, the companies will host a joint discussion of the data at 11:00 a.m. Central Time, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 5:00 p.m. British Summer Time with the investment community.
